We are excited to celebrate Easter Sunday with baptisms this year! Baptism is a presence-filled Sacrament and means of grace that has been given to us by Jesus. It is an embodied way of denouncing your old way of life and being raised to a new life in Christ and his family. In some ways, it marks the conscious beginning of your discipleship to Jesus.
On Sunday, April 6, we will host a catechism class for those preparing to be baptized - let us know if you are interested!
Renew is our quarterly night of prayer and worship, where we come together as a community to seek the presence of the Lord. Plan to join us on Monday, May 12 from 6:30 until 8:00 pm. Childcare is provided and house churches will not meet that week in hopes that we can all make space to join together on Monday night.
At Emmaus we desire to continue seeking the tangible presence of God and have set aside a monthly Friday night prayer space called The Waiting Room. It is in this space and set-aside time that we expect God to speak, and wait in anticipation for him to. Throughout history, it has been a remnant of praying people who sow seeds of renewal and awakening. Come, wait. Come, Holy Spirit. It will open at 6:30 pm.

The Lenten season begins on Wednesday, March 5th. As a way to move into this season of repentance, fasting, and reflection, we encourage you to stop by the church between 7 - 8am for the Imposition of Ashes before beginning your day.
The men of Emmaus will be gathering for lunch on Sunday, March 2, right after the gathering, for a time of fellowship and intentional discipleship conversation. We would love for you to join!
To conclude our series on The Four Loves at the end of the month, we will be having a panel discussion on Friday, February 28th at 6:00pm on the topic of relationships, singleness, marriage, and intimacy. Plan to join us, no matter what season of life you are in.
We are hosting, in partnership with SevenHomes, a Parent's Night Out for Triad foster families on Saturday, February 22 from 4:30 - 8:00 pm. This will be an opportunity for foster parents to take the night for themselves to enjoy and rest.

We are excited about our 4th Annual Chili Cookoff on Sunday, February 16 right after the gathering! We've got some great cooks in our community and the competition is heating up. Plan to stay, eat lunch and help us decide the new winner of the golden spoon.
