Prayer

The first rhythm in our Rhythm of Life is prayer. Prayer is nothing more than being with and communicating with our Father. Learning how to pray was the primary question the disciples asked Jesus (Luke 11:1). Jesus himself modeled the rhythm of retreating to be with his Father in prayer (Luke 5:16).

Lectio Divina is also an ancient practice of divine reading - meditating and praying through the Scriptures. We recommend Lectio365 from 24-7 Prayer to practice Lectio Divina.

Art

Art has historically been a way for the Church to worship and be with God - think of ancient cathedral paintings, pipe organs, and “heaven-focused” architecture. Our hope is to create space to curate art & beauty as a way to engage the presence of God through the five senses.
